How Does ENDOLIFT Work?
ENDOLIFT is known for its minimally invasive nature.
The thermal energy generated by the laser stimulates collagen production, a protein essential for skin elasticity and firmness. This additional collagen production contributes to skin tightening over time. A visible lifting effect is instant.
Collagen production naturally slows as we age, so this is a great alternative to surgical lifting procedure for patients seeking a more youthful look.
What Areas Can be Treated by ENDOLIFT?
ENDOLIFT can be used to improve skin laxity on almost any part of the face or body:
- Jawline
- Double chin
- Face
- Neck
- Abdomen
- Hips
- Glutes
- Knees
- Inner thigh
- Arms
Why ENDOLIFT?
- It is a great solution to correct mild sagging of the skin and fat accumulations on the lower third of the face
- It is a non-surgical and minimally invasive laser procedure
- You’ll see immediate skin retraction
- Results last 2-3 years on average
- It provides skin tightening and excessive fat removal, all in one
- Most patients only require one session
- Unlike surgery, ENDOLIFT patients feel only a slight discomfort
Are There Risks or Side Effects?
Since the laser produces heat, there is a risk of skin burns, discoloration, or nerve bruising that may result in muscle weakness around the mouth for 3 to 6 months. This is an extremely rare side effect when ENDOLIFT is performed by a trained physician like Dr. Moses.
In addition, asymmetry and contour irregularities can happen and may require further treatment.
What Does ENDOLIFT Treatment Feel Like?
ENDOLIFT treatment is performed under local anesthesia, which stings when injected. Then a single use micro optical fiber—which is just a bit thicker than a hair—will be easily inserted under the superficial layers of the skin. There is no incision required and virtually no recovery time.
ENDOLIFT treatment takes between 30-90 minutes, depending on the area.
What to Expect After ENDOLIFT
You may experience swelling that can last approximately two to three weeks following the procedure.
How Soon Will I See the Results?
ENDOLIFT results in immediate skin retraction, so you’ll see an improvement in skin laxity immediately. Over the months after your session, you’ll continue to see improvement in the treated area as additional collagen production happens in both the very deep layers and superficial layers of the skin.
How Long Do the Results Last?
The skin tightening created by ENDOLIFT lasts for 2-3 years, but your results may last even longer. As with all aesthetic medicine procedures, the results achieved are dependent on the patient’s unique circumstances.
How Many Sessions of ENDOLIFT Do I Need?
The majority of our patients see results after one session. Depending on your skin condition and where you begin, Dr. Moses may recommend additional sessions for optimal results.
Am I a Candidate for ENDOLIFT?
Endolift treats a wide range of conditions in a variety of patients. However, pregnant and breastfeeding women or those with certain conditions, including auto-immune disease, skin diseases, skin infections, and a known intolerance to the local anesthetics are not candidates for this treatment.
